Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - Operating Room

Location: Sahuarita, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Assist surgeons in the operating room
Prepare operating rooms and sterilize equipment
Pass instruments to surgeons during procedures
Move patients and dress wounds
Surgical specialties include Orthopedic surgery, General surgery, GI, and Podiatry
Extensive knowledge required in Orthopedic and General surgery

Shift Details

Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
On-call requirement: Voluntary
Floating required: Yes, may float to sister facilities if block time releases occur and no cases are available

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist (CST/ORT)
Preferred certifications: CST, BLS
Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred
Scrub color: Blue

Additional Information

Maximum allowed time off (RTO): 1 week
No option for 48-hour guarantee or blocked scheduling
