Job Opportunity: Travel RN - Med Surg

Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
Floating: Required to float as needed, occasionally to ICU for Med Surg Overflow or Step Down patients
Patient Ratio: Typically 1:6, occasionally 1:7
Unit Beds: 36
No Call Required
EMR Systems: Cerner, Mindray Telemetry System
Scrubs Color: Royal Blue

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1+ years in Medical Surgical nursing
Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
Additional: Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers (agency must be registered with NM for fingerprinting process)

Notes

Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantees may be accommodated with prior arrangement
Maximum Return to Origin (RTO) allowed: 1 week
Floating is rare but expected when necessary
