Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Medical Unit Day Shift)

Location: Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a current Wisconsin nursing license and CPR/BLS certification. RN must be vaccinated for flu. Travel RNs may be required to float to other units.

Shift:

• 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend and holiday required

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing techniques, policies, standards of care, and state laws
• Document care according to standards
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy, including patient and family education
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments to support patient care continuity
• Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Flu vaccination required
• Prior travel experience: Not specified (assumed not required)
• Specialty experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum experience expected for an RN role
