Description

Job Opportunity: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Location: Quincy, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 5 weeks

Job Summary

The ED RN is an integral member of the Emergency Services team, collaborating closely with Emergency Department Physicians to deliver timely and appropriate care to patients. Responsibilities include:

Managing patient flow and maintaining order during peak surges
Responding to multiple demands with integrity and persistence
Prioritizing duties based on critical nature to achieve positive patient outcomes
Participating in performance improvement initiatives
Assisting in other hospital nursing areas when census is low

Requirements

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience

Education & Certifications

Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Work Hours

36 to 48 hours per week

Additional Information

Return to Office (RTO) is not approved unless specified in the offer
