**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Respiratory Therapist - RRT!** **Job Description:** - **Shift Details:** - Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) - Positions available: Accepting 36 or 48-hour offers - **Experience Required:** - Minimum of 2 years in Respiratory Care - First-time travelers welcome - **Certifications Required:** - BLS, ACLS, NC state license, RRT credentials - PALS preferred (NRP optional) - **Key Skills & Responsibilities:** - **Care of Patient with:** - Airway Management - Medication Administration - Ventilator Management - **Work Settings:** - Adult Critical Care - Emergency Department - Med/Surg and ICU Step-Down units - **Technical Skills:** - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Patient care using: - BiPAP, CPAP - Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - Nebulizers and various aerosol setups - Tracheostomy care and management - **Emergency Procedures:** - Extubation, Nasal/Airway suctioning - Sputum specimen collection - **Patient Care Focus:** - Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics - Large population of respiratory conditions including COPD and COVID-19 - **Special Equipment:** - Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton T1, and Night-time VPAP - ABL90 ABG machine - **Scheduling and Orientation:** - 7 days maximum for time off requests - Mandatory orientation shifts from 7a-7p before transitioning to 7p-7a - **Weekend Requirements:** - 4 weekend shifts within a 6-week timeframe - **Call Requirements:** - On-call as needed, workload dependent - **Unit Systems:** - EPIC experience is required **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
