Job Opportunity: RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Alpine, Texas

Job Description

• Position requires working Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• On-call duties required
• Must have current Texas nursing license or compact license
• Required certifications: BLS, ALS, PALS
• Experience required in Pre-Op, Circulating, and PACU
• Role involves critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care within the Operating Room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other staff to provide care according to state regulations, AORN standards, physician orders, and hospital policies
• Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring supplies are available
  • Managing case timeliness
  • Communicating with patient families
  • Updating physician preference cards
  • Scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases
  • Supervising personnel delivering patient care
