Job Opportunity: Staff RN - Emergency Department (Nights 7PM-7:30AM)

Location: Lancaster, Ohio

Job Summary

Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and supervising individual patient care using the nursing process. Includes delegation and direction of co-workers in care implementation.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Licensure/Certification: Valid Ohio nursing license; CPR certification required
• Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred (no specific years stated)
• Specialty: Nursing (Emergency Department)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care based on patient assessment and established care plans
• Educate patients and families throughout admission to discharge
• Document nursing process accurately and legibly
• Notify physicians of significant patient status changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Implement physician orders as written
• Ensure availability and proper functioning of equipment and supplies

• Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
