### Join Our Passionate Team as a Respiratory Therapist in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit! **Job Description:** - **Position:** Respiratory Therapist - PICU - **Unit:** 70+ bed NICU, 10 bed PICU, 32 bed Pediatric Floor, 14 bed Pediatric ED - **Shift:** Night shift - 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) - **Schedule Flexibility:** Willing to accept either 3x12s or 4x12s; maximum 36 hours offered - **Weekend Requirement:** Every third weekend - **Patient Age Groups:** Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents - **Responsibilities:** - Provide respiratory care in a fast-paced environment - Engage in high-level airway management and suctioning - Administer medications, including Albuterol and Nitric Oxide - Work collaboratively in Emergency Department, NICU, and Pediatric Critical Care settings - Float across Pediatric units as needed - Participate in patient transport (inter-departmental and ambulance) **Required Skills & Certifications:** - Minimum 5 years of experience in PICU/NICU - Active RRT, BLS, NRP certifications - Proficiency in: - Endotracheal tube placement and suctioning - Extubation and intubation assist - Ventilator management, including BiPAP and CPAP - Care for patients with conditions such as COVID, Cystic Fibrosis, and Pneumonia - Chest physiotherapy and ABG interpretation **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with: - Direct intubation (Neonatal and Pediatric) - Assist in high-risk deliveries - Equipment such as Servo-I, Hamilton T1, and Smart Vest - Competence in drawing and interpreting arterial blood gases **Onboarding & Support:** - Comprehensive unit orientation (36 hours) - Dedicated recruiter for seamless onboarding and support **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
