**Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Respiratory Therapist in PICU!** Job Description: - **Unit**: Hemby PICU - **Profession**: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - **Specialty**: RRT-NICU - **Shift**: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) - **Weekend Coverage**: Every Third Weekend - **Patient Age Groups**: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents - **Years of Experience**: Minimum 5 years required - **Previous Charge Experience**: Preferred - **Travel Experience**: Required (1st time travelers accepted with high-level skillset) - **Certifications**: BLS, NRP, RRT (preferred) **Core Skills and Responsibilities**: - **Airway Management**: - Direct Intubation - Extubation - Tracheostomy care/management - Nasal/Oral airway placement and suctioning - **Ventilator Management**: - BiPAP, CPAP, High-Frequency Oscillator - Troubleshooting high-pressure alarms - Weaning from mechanical ventilation - **Medication Administration**: - Albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, Nitric Oxide, and more - **Neonatal and Pediatric Care**: - Assisting in high-risk deliveries - Managing conditions like Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia and RSV - **Professional Skills**: - Interpreting Arterial Blood Gases - Basic EKG knowledge - Chest Physiotherapy **Unit Details**: - **Bed Capacity**: - 70+ bed NICU - 10 bed PICU - 32 bed Peds Floor - 14 bed Peds ED - **Special Equipment**: - Competence in various ventilators (Servo-I, Servo-N) and Alaris IV pumps - Airvo heated HFNC, BCPAP systems, and more **Scheduling and Orientation**: - **Orientation**: 36 Hours - **Scheduling**: Per Unit Needs (No Block Scheduling) **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol)**: At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
