**Exciting Opportunity for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Respiratory Therapist!** **Job Description:** - **Unit:** 111-1000-11403 - Respiratory Therapist - PICU - Hemby - **Travel Experience:** Required, prefer experienced travelers; will consider 1st time with a high level skillset. - **Profession:** Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - **Specialty:** RRT-NICU - **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) - **Previous Charge Experience:** Preferred - **Years of Experience:** Minimum 5 years required - **Charting System:** Proficiency in Epic required **Required Certifications:** - BLS - NRP - RRT **Required Skills:** - Airway Management Devices/Suctioning - Intubation (Direct and Assist) - Extubation - Tracheostomy care/management - Ventilator Management (BiPAP, CPAP, etc.) - Care for patients with respiratory conditions (e.g. COVID, pneumonia) - Capillary blood gases - Arterial blood gas drawing and interpretation **Work Settings:** - Emergency Department - NICU - Pediatric Critical Care - Pediatrics **Patient Age Groups:** - Neonates - Infants - Pediatrics - Adolescents **Schedule Details:** - Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend - Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 10 - Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 request allowed - Float Requirement: Yes, throughout the PEDS units and floors **Special Procedures/Unit Details:** - 70+ bed NICU - 10 bed PICU - 32 bed Peds Floor - 14 bed Peds ED **Special Equipment:** - Servo-I, Servo-N, HOFV-3100 A & B - Alaris IV pumps for continuous Albuterol treatments - Airvo heated HFNC - BCPAP with multiple interfaces - Metaneb, Smart Vest, Heliox use **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
