Job Description

• Provide nursing care requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments.
• Work independently to complete assignments following physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies, and hospital policies.
• Support patients of all ages and their families.
• Facility serves a culturally diverse community including Navajo, Hopi, Southern Paiute, Anglo, Hispanic, and African American populations.
• Services include inpatient/outpatient emergency, dental, ophthalmology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral and eye surgery, and urological procedures.
• Nursing staff includes RNs, LPNs, nursing assistants, nurse practitioners, CRNAs, and community health nurses.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, territory, or Commonwealth (Arizona state license NOT required).
• Current certifications (must be maintained throughout employment):

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) – to be completed within 6 months of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – to be completed within 6 months of hire

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs every 2 weeks.
• COVID & Flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted after submitting a declination form.
• Limited shared housing available at $600/month (no family or pets allowed).
