**Join Our Dynamic Med/Surg Team!** **Job Description:** - Position: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Specialty - Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) - Work Schedule: Flexible with 36 or 48-hour options available - Patient Ratio: 1:4 to 1:6, depending on assignments - Daily Census: 12 patients - Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics **Essential Qualifications:** - Experience: Minimum of 1 year, with 2 years preferred - Charting System: Epic experience required - Certifications: - ACLS (preferred) - BLS (required) - NIHSS (preferred) **Preferred Skills:** - Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response - Interpretation of Dysrhythmias - Telemetry experience (unit and remote monitoring) - IV Therapy and Phlebotomy - Management of Dysrhythmias - Accessing/Managing Ports - Blood Product Administration **Respiratory Skills:** - Nasal Cannula and Oxygen Administration - Non-invasive airway management - Chest Tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac) - BiPAP/CPAP Management **Professional Knowledge Areas:** - Isolation Precautions/PPE - Wound Care/Wound Vac - IV Insulin Protocols - Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) **Work Settings Experience:** - Med/Surg - MS/Tele - Telemetry - Cardiovascular - Post-Cardiac Procedures - Endocrine/Metabolic - Gastrointestinal Care - Genitourinary/Renal **Interdisciplinary Support Available:** - IV Teams - Physical Therapy - Respiratory Services - Interpretation Services - Phlebotomy - Radiology - Social Services - Rapid Response Teams - Pharmacy - Transportation **Float Requirement: Yes** **Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend** **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
