Job Opportunity: RN Charge Skilled Nursing

Location: Lake Isabella, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide direct care and supervise care given by CNAs, LVNs, RNs, and support staff in a long-term skilled nursing setting.
Ensure continuity of care by communicating with physicians and healthcare team regarding changes in patients' clinical conditions, diagnostic results, and symptomology.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
Participate in Quality Improvement activities.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care of residents within the skilled nursing facility.

Required Qualifications

Current California RN license.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care facility.
Working knowledge of Title 22, OBRA, and other relevant regulations.
Operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
Good interpersonal skills; able to interact professionally and respectfully with residents, patients, staff, and external agencies.
Basic computer skills.
