Job Opportunity: LMSW (Licensed Masters of Social Worker)

Location: Everett, Washington

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 5x8 hour day shifts
• Weekends: Required every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2-week period
• Floating: Yes, will float between units including multiple campuses within 2 miles
• Locals Accepted: No

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty (Social Services)
• Must have Acute Care Experience
• Experience in Discharge Planning/Care Coordination required
• Strong preference for candidates with diverse Case Management experience (Med Surg, LLOS, ED)
• First-timers accepted (no prior travel experience required)

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Social Worker Licensure (appropriate for LMSW)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• Drug screen: 10 panel within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • TDAP (within 10 years or declination)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
  • COVID vaccine or declination
• Respirator clearance required for travel candidates (annual)
• Fit mask testing required (annual) for travel candidates
• References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
• Employment application covering at least last 5 years

Additional Requirements

• Must complete required WorkRamp training modules annually, including:

  • Regulatory requirements
  • Specialty-specific modules for Social Services
  • Facility-specific modules (including Basics of Trauma Informed Care)
• Must complete Epic training modules as required by facility
• Must acknowledge and comply with floating policy (may be required to float to other Providence facilities nearby)

• This position requires working every other weekend and floating between units.
