Job Opportunity: MLT/MT Generalist

Location: Delta, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Job Description

• Perform duties as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) Generalist.
• Experience required in blood bank, hematology, chemistry, and microbiology set-ups.
• Occasional blood draws may be required.

Required Qualifications

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution, OR
  • Associate’s degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
• Certification:

  • National registration by ASCP/HEW as an MT or equivalent, OR
  • National registration by ASCP/HEW as an MLT or equivalent, OR
  • Qualification as Laboratory testing personnel as defined by CLIA 88 regulations.
• Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year previous hospital experience preferred.
