Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist - Lab

Location: Bullhead City, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 4/10's Days (07:00 AM - 05:00 PM), Friday through Monday

Job Description

Perform routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on blood and body fluid specimens with minimal supervision.
Ensure accurate and reliable test results by following quality control protocols and maintaining laboratory instruments.
Support patient care by completing tests efficiently, troubleshooting equipment, and assisting in data collection for regulatory compliance.
May include teaching new employees and students.
Perform phlebotomy duties as needed.
General core lab duties in Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, and Serology.
No floating required.
EMR system used: MedHost - LIS.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
Certifications required: ASCP, AMT, or NACCLS.
Preferred experience in a hospital setting.
