Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Nursing) - Contract

Location: Honakaa, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work at a Long Term Care Facility located on the hospital site.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing assessments and treatments
- Medication administration
- Notifying MD/NP of pertinent information
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
- Gastrostomy tube care
- Urinary catheter care
- Nebulizer treatments
- Wound vac care
- CPAP care
- Other assigned duties
Shift schedule is varied with 8-hour shifts:
- Days: 07:30 - 15:30
- Evenings: 15:00 - 23:30
- Nights: 23:00 - 07:30
Includes weekends, holidays, and possible overtime rotation.
No guarantee of hours or shift preference.
Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday.

Required Qualifications

Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment.
BLS/BCLS certification required.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Additional Notes

Timely arrival before start date is mandatory for onboarding procedures.
