Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist - Lab

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring various disease states.
• Follow standardized procedures and prepare samples for testing.
• Analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits.
• Utilize limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Perform a variety of tasks with some creativity and latitude.
• Typically reports to a manager or supervisor.
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (shift times will vary).
• On-call: No on-call requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required.
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required.
• Must be a certified Medical Technologist.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.

Contract Length

• 12 weeks (interpreted as weeks since 12 is between 4 and 40).
