Location: Tarzana, California

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position: Limited License Radiology Tech (X-Ray Tech)
- Required to have CRT license; ARRT license is accepted but not required
- Outpatient experience required
- Must be willing to float between Tarzana and Mission Hills locations as needed
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Scrub color: Any solid color accepted
- Charting system: EPIC
- Weekend and on-call shifts are not required
- Open to first-time travelers and locals
Required Qualifications
- Valid X-Ray Technician license in California
- Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technician experience
- X-Ray Technician experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- Experience in an outpatient setting
Certifications & Licenses
- CRT (California Radiologic Technologist License)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accepted but optional
- California CPDH Certificate required for RTs
- Other certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) not specified as required for this role
Additional Requirements
- Must complete background checks including:
- Criminal background check within 45 days of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
- Drug screen: 10-panel within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respirator fit testing required for travel candidates (updated annually)
Orientation & Training
- 16 hours of orientation provided
- Must complete required WorkRamp modules prior to start (regulatory, specialty, and facility-specific modules)
- EPIC training modules required for charting system access
Work Environment
- Outpatient facility setting
- Must be willing to float between two clinic locations within reasonable distance
- No weekend or on-call shifts required
References & Employment History
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application must include at least last 5 years of employment with explanations for any gaps or overlaps
Summary
This is a 13-week travel contract for a Limited License Radiology Tech in an outpatient setting in California. The role requires a CRT license, 2 years of radiology experience, and BLS certification. The candidate must be willing to float between two clinic locations but will not have weekend or on-call requirements. Orientation and mandatory training modules will be provided. Prior travel experience is not required.
