Job Description

• Position: Limited License Radiology Tech (X-Ray Tech)
• Required to have CRT license; ARRT license is accepted but not required
• Outpatient experience required
• Must be willing to float between Tarzana and Mission Hills locations as needed
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Scrub color: Any solid color accepted
• Charting system: EPIC
• Weekend and on-call shifts are not required
• Open to first-time travelers and locals

Required Qualifications

• Valid X-Ray Technician license in California
• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technician experience
• X-Ray Technician experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• Experience in an outpatient setting

Certifications & Licenses

• CRT (California Radiologic Technologist License)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accepted but optional
• California CPDH Certificate required for RTs
• Other certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) not specified as required for this role

Additional Requirements

• Must complete background checks including:

  • Criminal background check within 45 days of start
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
• Drug screen: 10-panel within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
  • TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
  • COVID vaccine or declination
• Respirator fit testing required for travel candidates (updated annually)

Orientation & Training

• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Must complete required WorkRamp modules prior to start (regulatory, specialty, and facility-specific modules)
• EPIC training modules required for charting system access

Work Environment

• Outpatient facility setting
• Must be willing to float between two clinic locations within reasonable distance
• No weekend or on-call shifts required

References & Employment History

• Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Employment application must include at least last 5 years of employment with explanations for any gaps or overlaps

Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract for a Limited License Radiology Tech in an outpatient setting in California. The role requires a CRT license, 2 years of radiology experience, and BLS certification. The candidate must be willing to float between two clinic locations but will not have weekend or on-call requirements. Orientation and mandatory training modules will be provided. Prior travel experience is not required.
