Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: West Hollywood, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Monday – Friday with Saturday rotation
• Hours: Approximately 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (may vary depending on department needs)
• Daily Caseload: Approximately 150 patients
• Floating: Yes, will float to different departments within the main campus as needed
• On Call: Not required
• First Time Travelers: Accepted

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty

Required Licenses and Certifications

• California Mammography Radiologic Technologist License
• ARRT (R) required; ARRT (M) preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required

Required Qualifications and Compliance

• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to meet essential job functions
• Fit mask test (N95 or approved respirators) within 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with additional requirements if history of positive TB)
• Drug screening within 1 year (specific drug panel required, excludes Marijuana/THC)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B vaccine series, titer, or declination
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer or proof of disease history)
• Background check including 7-year criminal history and education verification
• Professional references: 2 required, at least 1 supervisory

Additional Requirements

• Must complete competency exams and pass/fail testing as required by the facility
• Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style photo)
• Acknowledgement and signing of facility-specific policies including:

  • Code of Conduct and Attendance Policy
  • Job Hazard Analysis and Safe Work Practices
  • Social Media Policy
• Attestation of prior radiation exposure required for new candidates

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not required for this position
• Floating to other departments within the main campus is expected
• Onsite orientation and training will be provided, including fire safety course if applicable
