Description

Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

Location: Tuba City, Arizona
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Perform General MRI and MRA procedures to maintain optimal patient flow.
Work within a culturally diverse community serving Navajo, Hopi, Southern Paiute, and other populations.
Facility provides a wide range of medical and surgical services including inpatient/outpatient emergency care.

Required Qualifications

Education

Completion of radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology.

Licenses & Certifications

Current Arizona State License in Radiology and MRI.
Current ARRT Certification in Radiology RT(R) and MRI (MR).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in MRI procedures (highest required years of experience).
Experience working with PACS / RIS systems, email, and general computer programs.

Additional Information

Orientation occurs every 2 weeks.
COVID & Flu exemptions may be accepted after submission of a declination form.
Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start.
