**Exciting Opportunity for Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses!** **Job Description:** - **Unit:** Obstetrics - **Travel Experience Required:** - *Seasoned traveler preferred* - *Strong experience is a must; candidates without travel experience will be screened out* - **Profession:** Registered Nurse - **Specialty:** Labor and Delivery - **Shift:** - Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) - **Years of Experience Required:** - Minimum of 2 years (preferably with precepting experience) - **Patient Ratios:** - Days/Nights/Weekends: 1:3 - **Charting System Required:** - Epic - **Certifications Required:** - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate - BLS - NRP - **Preferred Certifications:** - AWHONN Advanced - **Skills Required:** - Triage of obstetrical patients - Fetal Monitoring - IUPC placement and calibration - IV therapy/Phlebotomy - Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC) - Medication Administration - Anticoagulation therapy - Antihypertensives - Insulin drips - Magnesium Sulfate therapy - Labor and Delivery Management - Circulate for C-section - Sterile vaginal exam - **Professional Topics and Skills:** - Isolation Precautions/PPE - **Additional Skills:** - Strong precepting skills (a plus) - **Scheduling Type:** Other - **Orientation Hours:** 36 - **Patient Age Groups:** - Neonates - Adults - **Daily Census:** 12 - **Number of Rooms/Beds:** 10 - **Special Procedures/Unit Details:** - Labor and post-partum experience required - Will allow 4x12 upon request - RTO must be included at the time of submission - Facility can call off once per two-week pay period **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
