Job Opportunity: Radiology Tech (Diagnostic Imaging)

Location: Edwards, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Job Description

• Perform all radiographic examinations according to established protocols.
• Assist Radiologist with fluoroscopic procedures.
• Operate large C-arm and O-arm equipment under surgeon direction.
• Verify patient identity and exam orders for accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain communication with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members to support continuity of care.
• Adhere to department policies including confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, radiation protection, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Use hospital information systems and PACS for patient documentation.
• Monitor and maintain supply inventory in exam and dressing rooms.
• Uphold organizational values and Just Culture principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must be HIPAA compliant.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of radiology experience preferred.
• License: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) required.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Computer Skills: Must have or be able to obtain within 90 days the computer skills necessary for online learning and documentation.
• Language: Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
