Job Opportunity: Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT Outpatient)

Location: Napa, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide outpatient physical therapy coverage focusing on orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric patients
  • Work schedule: Monday through Saturday
  • Spanish speaking preferred

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in California
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Recent Physical Therapist experience within the last year
  • Experience working with geriatric patients

Compliance & Training Requirements

  • Completion of Providence Health and Services WorkRamp modules prior to start and annually thereafter, including:
    • Regulatory requirements for all caregivers
    • Specialty-specific modules for Therapy/Rehabilitation as assigned
    • Regional and facility-specific training modules
  • Epic system training modules may be required depending on assignment location
  • Float Policy Acknowledgement: May be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance

Experience & References

  • References: Minimum of 2 supervisor references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
  • Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format and explanation of any gaps or overlaps

Additional Notes

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
  • Spanish language skills are preferred but not mandatory
  • Candidates must be prepared to comply with all Providence Health and Services policies and procedures, including background checks and health screenings
