Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Case Manager role in an acute care facility. This is a travel/contract position with an ASAP start date.

Key Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse - Case Management / Discharge Planning
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of acute care case management/discharge planning experience
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required; first-time travelers may be considered but must be screened
• Floating Expectation: No floating required
• Patient Ratios: Day shift ratio approximately 1:20
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Must be available every other weekend and for holidays
• License: California RN license required; pending license accepted only if licensed by start date
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No more than 7 days

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Minimum 2 years of acute care case management experience, with at least some experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• Education verification required for all candidates
• Employment application covering at least last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors)
• Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
• Various state-specific background checks and attestations as applicable

Training & Onboarding Modules

• Completion of required WorkRamp modules prior to start, including:

  • Annual regulatory requirements
  • Specialty-specific modules for Case Management and RN roles
  • Regional and facility-specific modules based on location and specialty
• Epic access training modules required for SoCal and other specified regions
• Badge photo required for identification

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers must be screened before placement
• No floating expected for this role
• Must be available for every other weekend and holidays
• Pending CA RN license accepted only if licensed by start date
