Job Opportunity: Pharmacist (Travel)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages and hospital areas.
Practice in accordance with state/federal and DEA laws, TJC Standards, and hospital/departmental policies.
Collaborate with physicians on drug selection and dosing.
Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding medications.
Participate in Medication Safety initiatives.
Manage patient profiles and report adverse drug reactions.
Mix IV admixtures and nutritional supplements.
Maintain narcotic accountability.

Required Qualifications

Valid Pharmacist license in Arizona.
Minimum 3 years of pharmacist experience.
Pharmacist experience within the last year.
Experience in an Acute Care setting.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Shift

12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Wednesday through Tuesday
