Description
Job Opportunity: Pharmacist (Travel)
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Job Description
- Responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages and hospital areas.
- Practice in accordance with state/federal and DEA laws, TJC Standards, and hospital/departmental policies.
- Collaborate with physicians on drug selection and dosing.
- Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding medications.
- Participate in Medication Safety initiatives.
- Manage patient profiles and report adverse drug reactions.
- Mix IV admixtures and nutritional supplements.
- Maintain narcotic accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacist license in Arizona.
- Minimum 3 years of pharmacist experience.
- Pharmacist experience within the last year.
- Experience in an Acute Care setting.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Shift
- 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Wednesday through Tuesday
