**Exciting Opportunity for Night Shift Psych RN!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Travel RN - Psych-NIGHTS - **Shift:** Nights, 7P-7A - **Start Date:** ASAP **Minimum Qualifications:** - **Education:** Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing. - **Licenses/Certifications:** - Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license. - BLS Certification required from AHA. - CPI or Equivalent required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on assigned units. - Ensure quality care is provided efficiently and safely, consistent with unit standards. - Demonstrate performance aligned with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization. - Treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with respect and consideration. **Skills:** - Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served. - Sensitivity to patients’ rights in the delivery of care. - Clear and concise communication tailored to the developmental age of the patient. **Experience:** - Requires a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. **Nature of Supervision:** - Responsible to: Patient Care Director or Manager. **Environment:** - Exposure to bloodborne pathogens (C and B), infectious diseases, and x-rays. - Work in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated, smoke-free environment. - Subject to stressful professional relationships and flexible working hours due to unpredictable schedule changes and emergencies. **Physical Requirements:** - Must handle emergency/crisis situations effectively. - Prolonged, extensive standing and walking required. - Heavy physical effort to position, push, or transfer patients and equipment. - Requires considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. - Ability to judge distance and space relationships; normal or correctable hearing and visual acuity is needed. - Manual dexterity and fine motor coordination required. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
