Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist - Outpatient Medical Imaging - Days

Location: Chico, California

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform positioning for x-rays of chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle.
• Conduct imaging procedures independently without direct supervision.
• Operate X-ray equipment and process images into PACS.
• Provide basic patient care under clinic nurse supervision, including:

  • Obtaining vital signs
  • Preparing patients for clinician evaluation
  • Assisting clinicians
  • Obtaining specimens including blood draws if qualified
• Maintain orderly and well-stocked imaging area.
• May float to Main Radiology as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Health Services.
• Current CPR Certification.
• California-issued Fluoroscopy Permit.
• Current ARRT licensure.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Prior travel experience preferred (not explicitly required).

• The role is outpatient-focused with possible float to main radiology.
