Job Opportunity: Electrophysiology Tech (EP Tech)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
Coverage: EP late/call coverage as needed
Unit welcomes first-time travelers

Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in Electrophysiology Tech specialty
Prior travel experience not explicitly required

Required Certifications

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

Required Licenses

Must hold a valid license appropriate for Electrophysiology Tech role (per specialty and discipline)

Health and Compliance Requirements

Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
Adult TDAP vaccine within 10 years of start (no declinations except approved medical exemptions)
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Required immunizations or positive titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination accepted)
- Varicella (chickenpox)
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)

Background and Verification

7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
Education verification required (highest level)
Work history verification for 7 years
Driver’s license or state ID required
E-Verify and other federal background checks upon hire

Additional Requirements

Unit-specific skills checklist required annually
Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable
Color blindness test required
Orientation safety manual acknowledgment and HIPAA compliance

Requirements/Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician, with experience within the last year
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
