Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D Nights)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Nights
• Hours: Option of 36 or 48 hours per week
• Coverage: Every other weekend
• Specialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D)
• Required Experience: 2 years recent experience in specialty (higher value from description)
• Skills: Basic to intermediate fetal monitoring
• Prior Travel Experience: Preferred (previous travel experience preferred but not explicitly required)

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, MAB, CHEMO certifications as applicable (may be required depending on assignment specifics)

Required Licenses

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Oklahoma (primary source verification required)

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Background Check: 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Education Verification: Must verify highest level of education
• Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Physical Exam: Within 12 months of start
• Fit Mask Test: Required within 1 year of start, must be renewed annually
• Immunizations/Vaccinations:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination accepted)
  • Varicella (positive titer, 2 vaccines, or documented history)
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)

Additional Requirements

• Unit-specific skills checklist required annually
• Work history verification for the past 7 years
• Complete employment application/resume required
• Clear headshot photo for badge
• Driver’s License/State ID required
• E-Verify and other standard employment eligibility checks

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
• Minimum of 1 year recent Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Basic to intermediate fetal monitoring skills
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Notes

• Scrubs provided
• Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required
• Fingerprinting may be required onsite during orientation (specific to some states)
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory
