**Exciting Opportunity for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN!** **Job Description:** - Immerse yourself in a dynamic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Join a float team where flexibility and adaptability are key! **Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional patient care, monitoring acute conditions with precision - Engage with a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, including: - Insulin drips - Cardiac drips - Starting IVs - Post cardiac catheterization care **Requirements:** - Active NY RN license on file and in good standing - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (NIHSS must be completed prior to start) - Minimum of 1 year telemetry experience in a clinical setting - Epic experience within the last 2 years (non-negotiable) - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team **Details:** - Shift hours: 7 AM to 7 PM - Monday to Sunday scheduling, requiring flexibility - Typically scheduled every other weekend, with holidays as needed - Join a team of dedicated professionals caring for diverse patient populations, including those with: - Acute Coronary Syndrome - Cardiac diagnoses requiring close monitoring - ETOH withdrawal with potential airway compromise **Attributes of the Unit:** - Nurse Patient Ratio: 3:1 - Equipped with telemetry and supportive resources - Fast-paced environment with opportunities for learning & growth **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
