### Join Our Dynamic ICU Team! **Job Description:** - **Assignment Duration:** 16-32 weeks - **Unit Specialty:** Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - **Total Unit Beds:** 14 - **Patient Nurse Ratio:** 2:1 during the day, 3:1 at night - **Ancillary Support:** CNA/PCT and Unit Clerk available per shift **Requirements:** - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS certification (NIHSS required prior to start) - Preferred certifications: CCRN, AHA PALS - Minimum of 3 years nursing experience required - EPIC experience within the past 2 years is a must **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment - Floating required to med-surg or ER boarders as needed - Responsible for rapid response, code blue, and critical OB responses hospital-wide - Manage complex patient cases including sepsis, respiratory failure, and more **Scheduling:** - Monday to Sunday availability, no block schedules - Bi-weekly orientations every Monday; first available on April 13 **Additional Information:** - Reliable transportation is strongly recommended; public transport is not accessible - Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November to April **Work Environment:** - 14-bed ICU with an average daily census of 8-10 patients - Charge nurse on duty both day and night, not assigned to patient care - CCT support available on both shifts **Equipment and Procedures:** - Utilize Baxter IV pumps, Mindray bedside monitors, and Kangaroo enteral feeding pumps - Procedures include starting IVs, phlebotomy, medication titration, and cardiac procedures --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
