**Exciting Med-Surg Tele RN Opportunity!** Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Med-Surg Tele RN where every day brings new challenges and the chance to make a real impact on patient care. **Job Description:** - **Unit Focus:** Med-Surg with Telemetry - **Patient Care Responsibilities:** - Insertion of NG tubes and peripheral IVs - Interpretation of telemetry strips at the bedside - Providing compassionate care in a telemetry setting - **Schedule Requirements:** - Minimum of every other weekend commitment - Flexible scheduling adjusted to meet unit needs - Self-scheduling available through an online program - **Experience Required:** - 5 years of medical-surgical telemetry experience or 3 years of telemetry experience - Prior travel experience preferred - Must have previously completed 2 travel assignments in facilities with 300+ beds or have experience at any UVMHN acute care facility - **Certifications Required:** - AHA BLS - AHA ACLS - NIHSS (required before starting) - **Preferred Skills:** - Telemetry certification - EPIC system experience (within the last 2 years) - **Patient Population:** - Adults with a variety of diagnoses including telemetry cases, post-operative care, and chronic conditions - **Team Environment:** - Work collaboratively with RNs, LPNs, and LNAs - Supportive and tight-knit community atmosphere - **Orientation and Support:** - 1-2 precepted shifts plus time with educators before patient contact - 24/7 availability of respiratory and anesthesia support **Additional Notes:** - Reliable transportation is a must (public transport not available) - Parking is free onsite - Housing options may be up to 15 minutes away **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
