Job Opportunity: Echo Tech

Location: Victoria, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Call: Every 3rd weekend and rotational call during the week
Floating: No floating required
48 Hour Option: Not available
Block Scheduling: Not available
Maximum Return to Office (RTO): 3 days
Patient Ratio: 1 to 1

Job Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, venous and arterial Dopplers
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill in performing trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms
• Experience in placing intravenous lines and administering IV medications is desirable
• Experience in EKG interpretation and cardiac and vascular stress testing is preferred

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo-Vascular Technician, with experience within the last year
• Advanced knowledge and skill in the performance of trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms
• BLS certification required

Additional Information

• EMR systems used: Medhost and Carestream
• Scrub color: Any color except hunter green
• Candidates must be located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignment
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
