Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position involves working in a small critical access hospital covering Emergency Room (ER), Acute, and Long-Term Care (LTC) areas.
• Nurses will cover all areas as there are no separate units.
• Shifts consist of six 12-hour shifts (72 hours) over a two-week period, with every third weekend off.
• When assigned to the ER and no patients are present, the nurse will provide backup support in acute and LTC areas.
• When assigned to medication administration, the nurse will pass medications and perform procedures for LTC and acute patients.
• This facility is not latex-free.
• Hours are not guaranteed.
• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.

Required Qualifications

• Must have an active Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED).
• BLS/BCLS certification required.

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is required.
• Candidates not currently holding a Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of the offer.
