**Join Our Dynamic Med/Surg Team as a Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Unit:** 5300-1101 - Med/Surg 5AB - **Profession:** Registered Nurse - **Specialty:** Medical Surgical - **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) - **Experience Required:** Minimum of 1 year inpatient med/surg experience, recent Epic experience (within 6 months) **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a Med/Surg setting - Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 during day, night, and weekend shifts - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more - Float to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed **Essential Skills:** - Strong background in charting systems, specifically Epic - Proficient in cardiac monitoring and emergency response - Capability in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias - Experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy - Knowledge of respiratory support including nasal cannula **Unit Details:** - Centralized telemetry monitoring for optimal patient care - Free floating charge nurse for enhanced unit operations - Dedicated house discharge nurse to streamline patient transitions **Additional Information:** - **Orientation Hours:** 20 - **Patient Age Groups:** Adults & Geriatrics - **Daily Census:** Approximately 37 patients - **Total Beds:** 45 **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
