**Exciting Opportunity for a Progressive Care Unit RN!** Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN)! We are seeking talented and passionate professionals to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. **Job Description:** - **Position:** Progressive Care Unit RN - **Unit Specialty:** PCU - **Facility Beds:** 341 beds - **Scheduling:** - Monday to Sunday - Minimum of every other weekend required - Days of Orientation: 1 - 2 - **Shift Hours:** - 7 AM to 7 PM **Requirements:** - Active NY RN License on file - Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry experience - Certifications: - AHA BLS - AHA ACLS - NIHSS (required prior to start) - Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post cardiac cath - Epic experience within the last 2 years (non-negotiable) **Patient Population:** - Acute Coronary Syndrome - Bipap/CPAP with compromised gas exchange - Cardiac diagnosis requiring close monitoring - Drug toxicity requiring advanced monitoring/frequent observation - Alcohol withdrawal management **Unit Features:** - Staff Ratio: 3:1 - Level 2 Trauma Hospital - Charge Nurse not required - Floating required to appropriate units as part of the Resource Float team **Dress Code:** - Scrubs: Navy blue or white - Shoes: Closed toe, non-skid - Jewelry: Minimal - Hair/Beard: Professional and groomed **Special Equipment:** - IV pumps and telemetry monitoring - Respiratory support available 24/7 Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
