Paramedic - Wyoming

Location: Laramie, Wyoming
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of licensure or under physician supervision, following established rules, regulations, and protocols.
• Administer emergency medications according to the State of Wyoming Scope of Practice for Paramedics.
• Perform complete, population-specific patient assessments, establish care priorities, and deliver appropriate care.
• Accurately document patient assessments and treatments in compliance with Wyoming State statutes.
• Ensure ambulances and stations are maintained, clean, stocked, and ready for service at all times.
• Assist with medical treatment of patients in other departments under the direction of a provider and RN, within the scope of practice defined by the State of Wyoming.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time, personnel, and resources to meet department goals and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Paramedic experience.
• Must be a licensed Paramedic in the State of Wyoming.
• EMTs are not eligible for this position.
