Job Opportunity: Med/Surg Nurse - Flexible Night Shift

Location: Tuba City, Arizona
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

The Clinical Nurse provides a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. The role requires the ability to work independently to complete assignments. Nursing duties include support to individuals of all ages and their families, following physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures, and hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute facility.
License: Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice in any U.S. state, territory, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Certifications: Must have and maintain throughout employment:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six months of hire

Additional Information

Orientation sessions occur every 2 weeks.
COVID & Flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted after submission of a declination form.
Limited housing options available: shared housing units at $600 per month (based on availability). No family or pets allowed in housing.

The healthcare facility provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, surgical, dental, ophthalmology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, and more.

This opportunity is ideal for nurses seeking a flexible night shift contract in a unique and diverse healthcare setting.
