**Join Our Dynamic Team as an Inpatient Rehab Speech Language Pathologist!** - **Position Type:** Inpatient Rehab Speech Language Pathologist - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift Options:** Choose from 4x10 Days or 5x8 Days (40 Hours) - **Weekend Requirement:** Approximately 2 weekend days per month - **Experience Level:** 1 year required; first-timers accepted! - **Certifications Required:** BLS, AK SLP License - **Skills Required:** Acute rehab facility experience preferred; acute care experience a plus! - **Patient Demographics:** Adults and geriatrics - **Facility Type:** Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital **Your Responsibilities:** - Work with diverse patient populations recovering from stroke, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological and orthopedic conditions, and amputations. - Conduct thorough assessments using various evaluation tools such as WAB, BIMS, and PICA. - Implement individualized treatment plans focusing on dysphagia management, communication strategies, and oral motor skills. - Provide family education and support while delivering optimal patient care. - Utilize necessary tools and techniques like FEES, Modified Barium Swallow Studies, and voice resonance assessments. **Skills You'll Utilize:** - Expertise in dysphagia management, including bedside swallow evaluations, interpreting FEES, and implementing the Frazier Free Water Protocol. - In-depth knowledge of adult rehabilitation principles, adaptive equipment, and communication aids. - Ability to handle various patient needs, including those with tracheostomy, ventilator dependence, and complex neurological disorders. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
