**Join Our Dynamic Team as a PACU Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Are you a passionate RN looking to make a real impact in patient care? - Do you thrive in fast-paced, critical care environments? - If so, we invite you to embrace an exciting opportunity in our PACU unit! **Position Highlights:** - **Shift:** 4x10's, with variable start times between 0930-1200. - **Patient Care:** Work with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric post-surgical patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead with confidence by meeting OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Provide exceptional nursing care utilizing the full nursing process: - Assessment - Diagnosis - Planning - Intervention - Evaluation - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments according to protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness. - Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided meticulously. - Assess learning needs and offer education to patients, families, and caregivers. **Job Requirements:** - **Education/Skills:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred. - **Experience:** - 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty, preferred. - **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - Current BLS certification (AHA only). - Current ACLS certification (AHA only). - Current PALS (AHA only) or ENPC certification required. - RN License in the state of TX or compact. - **Additional Requirements:** - New hires must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days. - Precepted by a designated trained staff member. - Completion of annual competency verification requirements. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
