**Exciting Opportunity for a Cardiac Progressive Care Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Start Date: 4/06 - Assignment Duration: 16-32 weeks - Essential Details: - Every weekend schedule - Cardiac Progressive Care Stepdown Tele/Surgical Focus - Must be willing to float to like units **Requirements:** - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience - At least 1 year of experience in a similar unit - AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required - PCCN preferred; NIHSS must be acquired prior to start - Recent large trauma Level 1 experience (within the last year) - Epic experience within the last 2 years (non-negotiable) - Experience in cardiothoracic and vascular nursing - Must have post-op day 1 experience with open/closed heart surgeries - Strong background in cardiac care is essential **Additional Information:** - IVS to OFFER - Shifts: Monday to Sunday - No block scheduling - Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays; next available on 4/20 - Complete work history information is essential (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) - All employment gaps over 90 days must be justified **Disclaimer:** - Public transportation is NOT accessible in this area; reliable personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended. - Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November - April. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
