**Exciting Opportunity for a Travel RN in Mother Baby Care!** **Job Description:** - **Shift:** Days 7A-7P - **Role:** Join our dynamic team as a Travel RN in the Mother Baby unit, where you'll provide essential care to mothers and their newborns. **Responsibilities:** - Demonstrate strong leadership qualities as you meet the expectations of OneCHRISTUS Competencies. - Deliver comprehensive nursing care by utilizing the nursing process: - Assessment - Diagnosis - Planning - Intervention - Evaluation - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects. - Document detailed patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. - Assess learning needs and educate patients, family members, and caregivers, identifying resources and issues to support their journey. **Job Requirements:** - **Education/Skills:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. - **Experience:** - 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. - **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - Current STABLE certification required. - Current NRP certification required. - Current BLS certification preferred. - Current ACLS certification preferred. - RN License in the state of TX or compact. - **Position Requirements:** - Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - Be precepted by a designated trained staff member for initial onboarding. - Complete all annual competency verification requirements. - **Preferred Experience:** - Perinatal RN Residency, or recent practice in a Perinatal Setting. **Work Schedule:** - 7AM - 7PM **Work Type:** - Full Time **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
