**Exciting Opportunity for an RN - Mother Baby Care!** Job Description: - Are you a skilled and compassionate RN ready to take your career to the next level? Join our incredible team in the Mother Baby unit! - Work Schedule: Days from 7AM to 7PM - Shift: 7A-7P **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop and maintain long-range care plans for patients, addressing both routine and complex needs. - Skillfully administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. - Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided with accuracy and detail. - Assess learning needs and educate patients and families on care and available resources. - Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families at all levels of practice. - Collaborate with other care providers, making appropriate assignments and delegating tasks as necessary. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred). - 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty (preferred). - Current RN License in the state of TX or compact. - Current STABLE certification required (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants). - Current NRP certification required. - Current BLS certification preferred; ACLS certification preferred. **Position Requirements:** - Complete New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - Undergo preceptorship with a designated trained staff member. - Validate on-boarding requirements through successful completion of organizational entry competency validation and Perinatal Services-specific competency validation. - Complete all annual competency verification requirements. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
