As a competent Nurse, you will: • Practice independently and navigate complex clinical situations with confidence. • Provide both routine and advanced care to patients in Labor and Delivery. • Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—to deliver top-notch patient care. • Address the unique psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families. • Administer medications and treatments using established protocols while monitoring their effectiveness. • Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately. • Assess learning needs and provide essential education to patients and their caregivers. Requirements: • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. • 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred. • Current certifications required: AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), NRP, BLS, and ACLS. • Valid RN License in the state of TX or compact. • New hires must complete the New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days. • Precepting by trained staff member to ensure successful onboarding. • Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.
