**Exciting Opportunity for RN - Labor and Delivery!** Join our dynamic team as a dedicated Labor and Delivery Nurse! Embrace the chance to work night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) in a supportive environment, providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns. Your skills will make a positive impact on families during one of the most crucial times in their lives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process: - Assessment - Diagnosis - Planning - Intervention - Evaluation - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, closely monitoring for side effects and the effectiveness of prescribed treatments. - Document detailed patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. - Assess learning needs and educate patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and resources. **Job Requirements:** - **Education/Skills:** - Preferred: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing - **Experience:** - 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred - **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - Current certification from AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) - Current NRP certification - Current BLS certification (AHA only) - Current ACLS certification (AHA only) - RN License in state of TX or compact **Position Requirements:** - Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - Be precepted by a designated trained staff member. - Complete all annual competency verification requirements. - **Preferred Experience:** - Perinatal RN Residency or recent practice in a Perinatal Setting **Work Schedule:** - Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM **Work Type:** - Full Time **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
