### Exciting Telemetry Nurse Opportunity! **Job Description:** - **Start Date:** Must begin within the next 2 weeks - **Location:** Elizabethtown, NY - amazing opportunity in a serene setting! - **Unit:** Med/Surg Acute Unit specializing in Medical Acute and Sub Acute care - **Facility Overview:** 25 total beds, providing a close-knit work environment and personalized patient care **Schedule:** - 3 x 12-hour shifts one week - 3 x 12-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift the next - Minimum of every other weekend required - Flexible adjustments to meet unit and patient care needs **Requirements:** - Current NY State Nursing License - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS Certifications (NIHSS required prior to start) - Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience - Prior travel experience necessary - Charge nurse experience is required and will be performed regularly - Must have EPIC experience within the last 2 years (non-negotiable) - Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained **Additional Information:** - **Transportation:** Public transport is NOT available; reliable personal or rental vehicle is necessary - **Facilities' Patient Population:** Chronic disease exacerbations, acute infections - **Age Range of Patients:** 17-104 years - **Staffing:** - Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5-6 - 3 nurses per shift, 1 Unit Clerk on days, 1 LPN - **Shift Hours:** Every other holiday required - **Orientation:** 1-2 days **Unit Specifics:** - Equipment: IV Pumps, Telemetry, CT IV Contrast, Hi-Flow Oxygen - **Support:** Respiratory available 24/7, Anesthesia available 24/7 - **Procedures Handled:** IV therapy, EKGs, Tele interpretation, respiratory treatments, Covid patients Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
