**Exciting Opportunity for Telemetry Nurses!** **Job Description:** - **Start Date:** Must start in the next 2 weeks - **Location:** Elizabethtown, NY - **Unit Details:** - 25 beds in the Med/Surg Acute Unit - Specialty in Medical Acute and Sub Acute - **Schedule:** - Alternating shifts: 3 x 12-hour shifts one week and 3 x 12-hour shifts + 1 x 8-hour shift the next week - Minimum of every other weekend required - No block schedules allowed - **Requirements:** - Current NY nursing license - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certification (NIHSS required prior to start) - Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience - Prior travel nursing experience - Charge experience is required and will be performed regularly - Recent EPIC experience (within the past 2 years) is non-negotiable - **Patient Care:** - Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-6 - Patient population includes chronic disease exacerbation, acute infections (ages 17-104) - Diverse care modalities including M/S acute and chronic care, telemetry, and rehabilitation - **Unit Specifics:** - Staff includes CNAs/LNAs, PCTs, and an LPN on each shift - 1-2 days of orientation provided - Equipment: IV pumps, telemetry, CT IV contrast, hi-flow oxygen - 24/7 respiratory and anesthesia support available - **Transportation:** - Reliable transportation is essential; public transport is not accessible in the area **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
