**Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced OR Nurse!** **Job Description:** - 16-32 week assignment with ASAP start - Flexible schedule required - Minimum of every other weekend - Adjustments to meet unit and patient care needs - Two times per week call requirement - On call every 3-5 weekends as needed - Requirements: - AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required - Minimum of 2 years’ nursing experience essential - Strong expertise in orthopedic and general surgery - Minimal eye surgery experience acceptable; strong in ortho and GYN is a must - Scrub experience highly preferred; strong circulator also accepted - Epic experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable - Additional Information: - Orientation every other Monday (next available is April 27) - No block schedules available - Comprehensive work history must be provided, including: - Bed count - EMR used - Facility type - Transportation: - Reliable transportation required (personal vehicle or rental strongly recommended) - Ensure all-season or snow tires during November – April **Operating Room Unit Highlights:** - Unit specialty: Surgery with 5 OR suites - Bed count: Licensed for 122 total facility beds - Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1 - Support staff available: CNA/PCT, unit clerk/secretary - Documentation and medication systems: EPIC with a blend of Pyxis and Med Room - Call requirements: - 1 weekend rotation every 5 weeks (Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday) - 1 weekday evening call per week (from 1530 – 0700) - Patient population: Adolescents, adults, geriatrics - Specialties include: Orthopedics, gynecology, general surgery, podiatry, urology, cardiology **Unit Characteristics:** - Comfortable with circulating C-Sections (training provided) - Primary service lines involve: - Orthopedic total joints and sports medicine - Minor orthopedic traumas - General and gynecological cases - Cataracts and urology procedures **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
