Description
ICU/Step-Down RN - Nights
Location: Greenbrae, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a 19-bed mixed ICU and step-down unit (PMCU) with a 3:1 patient ratio.
- Float as needed between ICU and PMCU (step-down level unit).
- Patient specialties include Neuro, Medical, Trauma (TNCC preferred), Vascular, and Cardiothoracic (CT).
- Manage EBD drains; no open heart cases.
- Must have recent Epic experience (within the last year) to pass Epic pre-assessment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Experience with Epic
Additional Information
- Up to 36 hours of on-call availability may be required during the assignment.
- Candidates must be able to start within 2 weeks of the requested start date.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
